Sportbikes are meant for pushing boundaries, and BMW Motorrad is looking to remind you of that with its new HP4 RACE. Faster, lighter, and exceedingly more expensive than any base-model S1000RR, this limited production racebike will hit the performance-hungry enthusiasts right where it counts, and to 750 willing buyers, right in the wallet, too.

You probably recognize the HP4 RACE name. That’s because BMW already pulled the cover off one at the 2016 EICMA show. If you want to make a splash, you do it there—in Italy, at EICMA, regardless of whether or not the details are finalized. At the time, they weren’t. “It was initially left open as to how far the advanced prototype reflected what the final motorcycle would look like,” BMW said.

Honda’s five new 2017 bike bonanza has been a few days full of surprises for MCN from the oddly charming Rebel impressing to the thoroughly refined CB1100 EX displaying retro charm at its best and the CB1100 RS slightly deflating our high expectations. And the two new CB models kept the surprises coming.

The CB650F and CBR650F can basically be treated as one bike as to all intents and purpose they are the same – it’s just that the CB comes with flat bars and the CBR gets a full fairing and clip-ons. Both bikes have received the same updates for 2017 – new forks, reduced gear ratios, 4bhp more power and a new look – and both bikes have been totally transformed for the better because of it.

The new Polaris/Indian flat-track team has won three in a row. This is impressive for a new bike, engine, and crew, making us look forward eagerly to the first of the mile races to come, races in which the existing and highly refined Harley-Davidson XR750s and Kawasaki Ninja 650s are expected to show what they can do against the newcomer.

Ending all speculations, the Yamaha FZ25 street-fighter has been launched in India, priced at a  fantastic ₹ 1,19,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new FZ25 marks the Japanese manufacturer’s foray into the highly competitive 250 cc performance motorcycle segment, while the naked motorcycle India’s most affordable 250 cc offering. The Yamaha  FZ 25 takes the FZ brand forward in the bike maker’s line-up and is said to be an ideal upgrade towards existing FZ users, apart from bringing all new customers to brand Yamaha. With deliveries scheduled to commence from 1st February 2017, here’s everything you that the Yamaha FZ25 has to offer.

Ford will give owners of the 2017 F-150 Raptor the chance to hone their off-road driving skills in the just-announced Raptor Assault program. Offered for free to new owners of the off-road pickup, Raptor Assault will take place in the high desert of Utah and comprise both classroom education and in-truck practice.
According to the company, the newest Ford Performance program will introduce owners to the high-tech features and impressive capability, with rockcrawling, high-speed driving, side-hilling, hill descent, and braking on the docket. Ford hopes the program will help new F-150 Raptors to understand their new trucks’ capabilities and become better drivers, though we’re sure they’ll have fun learning, too.

Owners will be pleased to know Ford Performance will provide its own Raptors and safety gear. In addition to the off-roading instruction, Raptor Assault participants can opt for additional on-road performance driving instruction at the Utah Motorsports Campus. Ford will provide instruction and two meals per day, with participants responsible for travel, hotel, and dinner costs.

The Raptor Assault website will provide prospective participants with schedule information, guidelines, and rules as they become available. Raptor Assault is the fourth program offered by Ford Performance Racing School, following programs designed for the Shelby GT350, Focus and Fiesta ST, and Focus RS.

Motorcycle collectability is a trait determined by a variety of factors – backstory and condition are two such traits out of many more. Which is why this Harley-Davidson MT500 is such a wonder, being miraculously unused.

Details regarding the enigmatic piece of history are scarce, but it’s clear that the bike is powered by a Rotax engine and was built towards the end of the production run. Additionally, you’ll find that the bike has been outfitted with a befitting military green color, as a plastic gun case and ammo panniers wrap up the look. As previously stated, the bike is completely new and has zero miles on its odometer, meaning the next owner of the bike will decide whether it stays new or not.

The bike is currently up for auction at Bonhams, where it’s expected to sell for $20,000 USD.

Japan’s approach to design may seem outdated to some, but its traditions of course run rich and are often times unmatched. Such is the case with this particular motorcycle concept by Artem Smirnov and Vladimir Panchenko.

The motorbike project is in turn meant to highlight the Japanese design process, which begins with the art of origami, or paper folding.

It is truly amazing to see what can come from such “simplistic” origins as merely folding paper, but the progress by Smirnov and Panchenko is undoubtedly next level.

The motorcycle itself and the technique provides the ability to balance itself. So this bike does not need to stand to stand. Bike front fork back and forth so that the front wheel balance bike is automatic.
