Do you know the Bling Machine Monster Truck? No? Well, it is a bling bling pimped out monster truck that despite its $1,000,000 price tag is down to earth enough to totally tear it up in the deepest, muddiest, nastiest of Florida’s mud holes! That is right, the Bling Machine is a real monster in the most monstrous of mud bogs.

Ecological studies commonly use the phrase ‘natural habitat’, which means an ecological or environmental area where a specific species lives. A species is most comfortable and at its optimal best when it is within its natural environment. It is fittest, happiest and most likely to reproduce here. Its natural habitat, for any particular species, is the place to be. The concept of natural habitats also applies to the world of the automobile. Some cars are most comfortable on the road, some on a track, and some, like the new Toyota Fortuner, on a ground dotted with ditches, slush, hills and dirt.

Welcome to the Toyota Fortuner Experiential Drive Camp, a multi-day, multi-city drive camp that was organised by Autocar India and Toyota to provide prospective customers an opportunity to explore the rugged side of the big SUV. “Customers have Fortuners, but this is the first time they are conducting a test like this on the product,” said N. Raja, senior vice-president and director of sales and marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motors, at the camp which was held in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru over 10 days. A record 2,500-plus customers experienced the off-road prowess
of the Fortuner first hand.

Today, this thing pops up: an Australian-built facet-crazy spud of a party van built on a Land Rover chassis.

The VW Van turned 66 years old this week, symptoms and what better way to celebrate senior citizenship than by going off the road?

German off-roading experts Delta4x4 announced today a new, aggressive package for the latest VW van model, the T6, that includes new shocks, wheels, tires, and a front bar.

The package combines to take the van from pedestrian to aggressive. With only a few more upgrades and some flat black paint, you could build a pretty respectable zombie survival machine, or a more-than-capable camper—depending on how firm your grasp of reality is.

The lift kit and the wheels combine to give you about two inches of extra ground clearance and the front bar was designed to hold optional PIAA lights. You also have your pick of 17, 20, or 22 inch rims.

The whole thing, with lights, starts at about $3,900 (roughly 3,500 euros). Sadly the company doesn’t ship to America, but European enthusiasts will now be able to go wherever they like.
